Juan Pablo de la Plata has over 20 years of experience in marketing, sales and institutional relationship positions throughout Latin America in the medical devices and diagnostics industry, such as: Johnson & Johnson, Systagenix, KCI and Mölnlycke At the Biodevice Medical group, a medical device pioneer in the field of orthobiologics in regenerative medicine, he leads the spin-off company, Nexgeen BioSource, as director of marketing and business development.

In the field of philanthropy, he worked with marketing and fundraising for the Americas in the largest international organization dedicated to the cause of cleft lip and palate, Smile Train. Also experience in the MICE segment for luxury & premium brands of ALL Accor Live Limitless.

Juan is Brazilian and has Spanish citizenship, and has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of São Paulo.

Strategic and cause marketing

Stategic Marketing consultancy is focused on medium and long-term results. It demands the study, development and implementation of actions that are not limited to current demands and that also seek to meet future market needs and desires.

The development of a job through Cause Marketing consists in the elaboration of studies of the values and positioning of the organization's brands, so as to be able to design strategies that in practice promote beneficial efforts in favor of the communities where they are inserted, causing social impact and/or environmental.

Tourism Meeting


The event held on October 27, 2021 at sea in Armação dos Búzios, was called the 8th Tourism Meeting "Roots: The Tourist Recovery". A JPP Marca       

co-production that paid homage to

the peninsula's roots: the beautiful bay quilombo, fishermen and foreigners, bringing together more than 40 businessmen. More than 16 press releases and strategic partnerships such as the one with the Festival Degusta Búzios, which promoted the quilombola food served during the event, marked this important moment for the city, find out more at:

Yoga for Smiles at Caras Magazine

On December 12, at the end of #GivingTuesday 2020 Week, when a fundraising campaign was in progress, Smile Train and Caras Brasil joined together to bring smiles in a Yoga for Smiles action promoted by Smile Train Brazil.

Willian Gasparo, teacher at Premananda Yoga School and Yoga Alliance RYT 200, conducted a very special yoga masterclass in a very inspiring way.

Smile Train ambassadors were present, such as: Isabel Hickmann, Raiza Bernardo, Eduardo Bodstein and Beatriz Brito, director of Dance Studio Marcia Pee. Miss Brasil 2020 Julia Gama, and Valença Sotero, president of Caras Brasil, also promoted the event on their social networks

Te Vejo na Praia Festival 2019

Festival Na Praia, in Brasília (DF), from June to September 2019, had dozens of presentations, attracting more than 300 thousand people in its 5th edition. Roberta Fernandes, supported by the @SuperFissurados team, and Smile Train partner ABRAFIS, launched the awareness campaign as a hashtag

#TudoComeçaComUmSorriso (#ItStartsWithASmile), which involved several important artists to share their support on their social platforms. The duo Zé Neto & Cristiano wore the shirt during the program, which was also aired on TV Multishow / GloboSat. The community of people with cleft lip and palate continues to be engaged in promoting the hashtag, with more than 2,000 mentions.
